More gifts for first responders, teachers

Metro Express Car Wash, 3131 Conference Drive in Coeur d’Alene, will provide free car washes to medical personnel, first responders, teachers and grocery store employees.

“These washes are given to hopefully make their lives a little easier and less stressful. To give them a few minutes to relax and feel better in a clean car,” said general manager Jordan Kuhn. “We hope they come in and allow us to take care of them for a few minutes and to say thank you.”

Restaurants and coffee stands have also provided free meals and drinks in the past seven weeks to those most on the frontlines of dealing with the coronavirus.
