WASHINGTON: Policy hard to digest

| May 15, 2020 1:00 AM

I heard on the radio this week that Washington will be taking the names and phone numbers of patrons at dine-in restaurants for contact tracing and yet they don’t feel the need for persons to provide proof of citizenship to vote. Seems a little wonky to me.

And won’t this new restaurant “policy” which, attorneys in Washington claim is legal, just encourage them to come over here for meals? Last I heard the COVID-19 cases are on the rise in Spokane, will these diners be subject to quarantine as outlined in our rebound program? And, by the way, just how is that enforced?

Love the Washington folks but I love my freedom and a healthy Idaho more.
