MASKS: Courteous and cautious

| May 13, 2020 1:00 AM

We, in Kootenai County, are so fortunate to have zero deaths and only a few cases of this COVID virus, but that could change, in time, if we are not proactive.

Until there is a vaccine, I would urge all people who live here to continue to wear masks when you go out of your home. This is a simple but effective measure and it will only be needed for a limited period of time.

Whenever you go for a walk, bring a mask and if you find yourself within 6-15 feet of someone else then use your mask.

I believe anyone who is over 50 is especially vulnerable, so those people need to be extra cautious.

Please everyone, wear masks to save yourselves and those around you.
