Kootenai Electric Cooperative reopens next week

HAYDEN — Kootenai Electric Cooperative is preparing to return to normal operations, beginning next week.

In an email to members, KEC announced the lobby of their Hayden office will be open to members with limited hours beginning May 18.

Hours are Monday - Thursday, 8-11 a.m. and 12-3 p.m. The lobby will be closed on Fridays. Member Services staff will be available by phone Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., excluding Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

Beginning June 1, lobby hours will be extended to Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. to match phone operations. The lobby will be closed on Fridays.

KEC will promote social distancing among employees and members through the use of stanchions and signage. The cooperative will also install sneeze guards, provide hand sanitizer and frequently disinfect surfaces.
