NEIGHBOR: Enough Washingtonitis

Regarding SPOKANE: “Insult will cost you” (printed Apirl 30):

Your Governor Inslee put a stay-at-home order in place so why are you here in the first place? You’re not shaming anybody from North Idaho. Our “welcome” is repeatedly taken for granted! We North Idahoans can’t even enjoy the blessings of our mountains, lakes, rivers and streams.

So please keep your money and trash, your golf clubs, UTVs, boats, fishing and camping gear in your Evergreen State. Our campgrounds are full, boat ramps are full, UTV parking and mountain trails are full and trash cans are FULL. We North Idahoans have had a pandemic going here long before COVID-19 showed up!

Please think twice before pointing fingers at our governor. Your state has been locked up for years. That’s why we can’t even enjoy our backyard! Who’s in dire straits…?
