GETTYSBURG: Revised for 2020

Four years and many tweets ago our voters brought forth on this continent, a new President, who believes in Liberty, and is dedicated to the supposition that all Socialism is created evil.

Now we are enraged by a great un-civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so deceived and so decimated can long endure. Soon we will meet at the ballot box in that war and exercise the right to vote for the future of our country. We owe it to our founders and our posterity to preserve the rights as given to us.

We can not hesitate, we can’t procrastinate, we cannot give up high ground. The brave citizens livid and mad who voted here have kept this freedom and preserved it against the desire of many to destroy our precious founding documents. The World will not agree with what we say here, but it will remember what we do here.

It is for us the voters, to be dedicated to the great task before us, to preserve our liberties, and resolve that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom - and that GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE, SHALL NOT PERISH FROM THE EARTH.
