First COVID-19 case confirmed in Kootenai County

The first case of the novel coronavirus has been confirmed in Kootenai County.

Panhandle Health District confirmed that a man over the age of 60 has tested positive for COVID-19.

The man is reportedly not hospitalized and is self-isolating in another state. Panhandle Health epidemiologists are investigating.
