List of online menus: Spokane restaurants and bars focus on takeout amid coronavirus pandemic, Inslee's order to close by Tuesday
Gov. Jay Inslee tonight ordered all restaurants and bars closed by 12:01 a.m. Tuesday to fight coronavirus as confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased again today with 127 new patients in Washington state. All entertainment and recreational activities also were ordered to shut down.
In an effort to survive, Spokane area restaurants have shifted their focus and efforts to takeout menus. As The Spokesman-Review has reported, restaurants can provide takeout and delivery but no in-person service. Pharmacies and grocery stores can operate as normal, while other retail outlets must limit the number of customers.
