Invention Convention announces winners

More than 100 students from across Idaho competed in the 31st annual Idaho Invention Convention at the University of Idaho in Moscow last weekend.

Several from Kootenai County earned top honors.

The first- through 12th-grade students qualified by winning at their regional competitions and competed for best of show and best of category awards as well as patent searches and $1,000 scholarships.

Here are the top young scientists and innovators of the 2020 Idaho Invention convention who hail from North Idaho:
