• Deputy Broughton was awarded with KCSO’s Top Cop award at a ceremony in ISP for having the most DUI arrests in 2019 for the Sheriff’s Office. Congratulations Deputy Broughton.

• Deputies responded to N. Government Way for a trespassing/unwanted subject. A female was walking in and out of multiple business causing disruptions. The reporting party requested she be trespassed, however she was not able to be located. 20-09413

• While investigating the above listed trespassing, Deputies located a vehicle with a smashed window. The owner of the vehicle advised she heard the same female from the trespassing outside her residence moments before the Deputies arrived, and believed she was the one to cause the damage. A malicious injury to property report and witness intimidation report was completed. 20-09415, 20-09417

• Deputies handled a hit and run crash at Lancaster market. The suspect was unable to be located. 20-09421

• Deputies responded to a physical domestic. Once on scene they learned it was not a domestic dispute, nor was it physical. The incident surrounded an issue with a juvenile who was taken to Kootenai Health by staff for an evaluation. 20-09431

• Deputies along with PFPD responded to an address on Cecil Road for a wanted person call. A male was located on scene and PFPD arrested him.

• Deputies responded to JDC and arrested a juvenile on her runaway warrant. 20-09446

• Deputies responded to the jail regarding a drugs call. While at court a female had her bond revoked by a Judge. During the search of the female heroin and paraphernalia were located on her person. The Deputy responded to the jail and arrested her on possession of heroin and cited her for possession of paraphernalia. 20-09451

• Deputies responded to the intersection of Ramsey and Prairie regarding a found 7 year old child. Upon arrival, A Deputy contacted a young male who did not know his address, full name or the name of his parents. The Deputy was eventually able to learn the name of male and the name of his grandfather. Central Dispatch was able to contact the grandfather and he responded to retrieve the child. The Deputy explained to the child the dangers of riding his scooter near a busy road, such as Prairie and Ramsey. 20-09466

• A Deputy located the female from the earlier trespassing and, based upon the report written, after a short struggle arrested her for Witness Intimidation and Resisting. 20-09415, 20-09417

• Deputies responded to Worley regarding a domestic dispute. While driving south through Worley, a male and female were involved in a heated argument. The male stopped the vehicle in Worley and demanded the female to exit the vehicle. When she refused he opened her door, grabbed her by the arm and attempted to forcefully remove her. The male stated he realized what he was doing and quickly stopped. The male said he felt bad for what he had done and contacted Law Enforcement. A report was completed the male with Domestic Battery. 20-09490

• A Deputy stopped and arrested a female for meth on a traffic stop at Hayden x Highway 95. 20-09511
