Avista customers in St. Maries to experience a planned power outage

About 731 Avista electric customers in St. Maries on the St. Joe River will experience a planned power outage on Wednesday.

The planned outage will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 11 p.m. Avista crews will be performing routine maintenance to their aging electrical infrastructure in that area.

“Our crew will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore service to the area,” said Chris Sands, manager of electric operations in St. Maries and the surrounding areas.
