Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to Hayden Walmart for a disorderly. RP reported male who is claiming to be a veteran panhandling at the entrance to Wal-Mart. Upon arrival, the Deputy was unable to locate the male. 20-24201

• A Deputy responded to Ramsey Road for a DVA violation. The Deputy completed a crime report. 20-24204

• A Deputy responded to Hwy 54 for a psychological. He contacted a female who refused to provide last name. She was allowed on property and had permission to live in a trailer. 20-24200

• Deputies responded to an accidental gunshot wound at Super 1 in Athol. A juvenile male was walking with his adult brother on their property with their .22 caliber cricket rifle and spotted a prairie dog. The gun was handed to the younger brother so the older brother could grab the cat that was walking with them from chasing the prairie dog. The younger brother put too much pressure on the trigger and the rifle was not on safe the round just grazed his left inner foot. He was transported to KH via private transport. Deputies completed report and provided some information about gun safety. 20-24197

• Deputies responded to Meyer Rd X Hayden Rd for a two vehicle crash. A single victim was transported to KH with minor injuries. Deputies completed crash report. 20-24251

• A Deputy responded to a two vehicle non-injury crash at Poleline X Meyer. He completed crash report. 20-24249

• Deputies responded to a found property at N Tessa Way and arrested a male for possession of heroin and methamphetamine. 20-24250

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies handled an injury crash involving three vehicles on Prairie Ave. and Pleasant View Rd. 20-24277

• Deputies responded to N. Marsili Dr. for a reported physical domestic. Units made contact with the female half, who was able to escape from the residence. She advised her husband came home intoxicated and they got into an argument. During the incident, the male became irate and threw a boot at her, hitting her in the back, leaving boot impression marks on her back, he threw her to the ground and kicked and punched her several times, took her phone from her and threw it at her as well as pushed her on the bed after he told her to get out of the house and began to strangle her. During this time, the male told the female that he could kill her right now if he wanted to. He ultimately let go and she was able to escape. She was checked out by medical on scene. Contact was made with the male and he was arrested for attempted strangulation and felony domestic battery. He refused to answer questions and was verbally uncooperative. 20-24303

• Deputies responded to E. Apache Trail to assist fire for an auto fire. The fire was near an RV that was occupied and the occupants were refusing to exit and the fire was spreading to nearby trees. The subjects on scene were so uncooperative, fire had to pull back and wait for assistance from KCSO. Once Deputies arrived, things calmed down and fire was able to get in and get the fire under control. 20-24313

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy stopped and arrested a male for his warrant at Hayden x 95. 20-2323

• A Deputy stopped and arrested a male for his warrant at Haycraft x 95. A small amount of marijuana was also located. 20-24327/20-24328

• A Patrol Sergeant stopped and arrested a male for DWP, No insurance, Meth and para at Gibbs Lumber in Hayden. A firearm was found and some follow up will need to be done to verify a possible felony conviction for an unlawful possession of a firearm charge. 20-24326
