Jenkins earns Play Therapy Credential
Joy’l Jenkins, of Post Falls, has received the Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor (RPT-S) credential. The Association for Play Therapy (APT) grants this designation to those who have earned a traditional master’s or higher mental health degree, has at least 150 hours of play therapy training, has two years and 2,000 hours of clinical experience along with 500 hours of supervised play therapy experience, and is licensed or certified by their state board.
The Association for Play Therapy works to advance the play therapy modality and serve the research, training and credentialing needs of mental health professionals. Information is available at www.a4pt.org.
