COLOR: Only skin deep

On a limb, skin color does not matter. It’s your gray matter that matters. It’s how you conduct yourself that matters.

We are human. We are above “wild animals” (or are we?). Of course black lives matter! No one said they don’t. All lives matter. (That makes me a racist.) No, it doesn’t. That makes me human.

Many men in my bloodline fought in the Civil War, all for the North, and finally to end slavery. Many of them died. Do I feel anybody owes me retribution? No- I do not. I’ve never met anyone who has ever owned a slave and I’ve never met anyone who was one. History is history. Let’s move on.
