Day Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Deputies responded to the area just west of Lancaster Rd. X Ramsey Rd. for an Unknown Injury crash later graded to a minor injury crash. One vehicle was severely damaged with multiple airbag deployments, and the other vehicle was still drivable after the crash. No one transported. 20-22644
• Deputies responded to a Property Damage Crash at the intersection of Ramsey and Hayden. No injuries. 20-22639
Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Deputies responded to a suspicious auto fire in Athol. Fire units requested KCSO respond to a vehicle fire with no license plates or VIN number. 20-22678
• Deputies assisted felony P&P with an agency assist. They responded to N Govt. Way. As they attempted to make contact marijuana was found outside on the ground. Other residence of the complex advised it was the probationer’s drugs. A report was completed. 20-22687
• Deputies assisted felony P&P with an agents warrant. A female was transported and booked into PSB. During the investigation more drugs were found and a report was completed. 20-22696
• Deputies responded to PSB for a battery report. One inmate wanted to file charges against another for “Pinching him on the butt with tongs.” 20-22709
Night Shift handled the following notable calls:
• Deputies observed a vehicle driving 18 mph on Prairie x Highway 41 that eventually came to a stop. He checked out with the vehicle and contacted a female driver and believed she was intoxicated. He conducted SFST’s and she provided breath samples of .170/.164. She was taken into custody for DUI. 20-22735
• While en route to PSB, a Deputy observed a female running down Canfield eastbound from Government, and believed her to be in distress. Other deputies quickly responded and found that the female was out for her morning exercise and spoke with her briefly while driving beside her so that she would not have to interrupt her pace. She continued on her run with no further interruptions. 20-22739
• Deputies responded to Sun Meadow Drive regarding a suspicious U-Haul truck in a field. Once on scene, they contacted a male and is father. They had recently been arrested for trafficking by ISP and thus had his vehicle seized. He has since rented a U-Haul pickup truck and is using it as his primary vehicle. He and his father had pulled off the road to sleep and due to the considerable amount of rain, slick mud, and bald tires they were now unable to get the truck back onto the roadway. Deputies offered to call a tow truck, but they denied their offer. 20-22741
