Chapman, a rising senior, won the 200-meter dash in a personal best 25.02 seconds during the Sandpoint Open on Saturday at Sandpoint High. Chapman, who won the 2019 5A state title in the 400, also won that event in 58.11 on Saturday. Chapman also won the 400 during a March 11 dual against Post Falls in what turned out to be the lone high school meet of 2020 for Chapman due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Sandpoint meet was non-sanctioned.
