DEVELOPMENT: Have a plan
I am not anti-growth. In fact, with well-thought-out growth we often see improvement to our communities. I understand why many from other areas would want to live in North Idaho.
However, when land owners, developers, city and county governments disregard aesthetic and eco balance in the interest of financial gain, our beautiful communities suffer. I don’t consider myself to be an environmentalist but I can sure tell you when poorly planned developments plopped right into the middle of beautiful 5-acre country homesteads do not look good!
Please — for the sake of all of us who currently call North Idaho home and for generations that come behind — let’s actually be planful about how we develop North Idaho.
