GUNS: Stops bad people
Dear Sir, you may have a certain amount of expertise in whatever field you earned your Ph.D., but you Sir are no student of history, firearms, federal law or the Second Amendment.
Let the lesson begin. It is a federal crime for anyone except a licensed dealer or collector, such as Charlton Heston, John Wayne, et al., to possess a machine gun in the U.S. The punishment is a fine up to $250G and/or 10 years in prison. There is no such firearm as an AK-15 just as there are no AR-14’s that Joe Biden has promised to confiscate if he is elected president.
The Second Amendment, which is plainly written and easily understandable, was put in place to protect the citizenry from government overreach, such as we have seen recently in many blue states. Those who try to parse it’s meaning do so to prevent the citizenry from objecting to what they would like to do.
Antifa was started in Nazi Germany in 1932 as the German Anti-fascist Action Committee. It then moved to Russia as the Moscow Communist International in 1933. The Antifa flag is a mirror image of the Nazi Antifa flag. Antifa’s goal is to overthrow duly elected governments by means of riots and violent actions. Antifa targets areas where they can hide among crowds and where law enforcement isn’t capable of stopping them without using deadly force. The threat of deadly force is usually enough to discourage those cowardly actions. Hence the peaceful demonstrations in Coeur d’Alene and many other communities in the U.S. where armed Patriots promoted peace.
There are more than 2 million crimes prevented in the U.S. each year by citizens (men and women, boys and girls) who lawfully possess firearms. The only thing that stops a bad guy/gal with a gun is a good guy/gal with a gun. Coeur d’Alene Patriots are good guys/gals. So are the police. Lesson over. Cram for test.
