Mary Lynn Mazzola, 85

Mary Lynn Mazzola, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister.

Lynn was born to Marvin Dalton Fairbanks and Arvella Christine Hatch on Dec. 4, 1934, in Annabella, Utah. She was the oldest of three children. She graduated high school in Modesto, Calif. In 1955 she married Anton Mazzola, in Modesto. They were later sealed for time and eternity in the Oakland Temple. Together they have two daughters and one son.

She loved gardening and could bring any plant back to life. Lynn was passionate about genealogy and she fiercely loved her “angels,” as she fondly referred to her grandchildren and later, her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Christina St Louis, Kimberly Miller and Nicholas Mazzola; and brother, Jack Fairbanks. She is the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; parents, Marvin and Arvel Fairbanks; sister Suzanne and grandson, Denny Kebert.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020, at Riverside Cemetery, located at 1001 Lincoln Way, Coeur d’Alene. Flowers and condolences can be sent to Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, Idaho.
