| June 8, 2020 1:10 AM

I live in Twin Lakes Village with my parents, three siblings and two dogs. I lived in Boise until I moved to North Idaho when I was in fourth grade. I went to Twin Lakes Elementary, then Lakeland Junior High, then Lakeland High School.

Activities/clubs/sports: In high school, I’ve been involved with cross country, basketball and track. I’ve also been a part of student council for the past two years. I was the ASB treasurer my junior year and the senior class vice president my senior year. I’m also a part of National Honor Society.

Hobbies: Some of my hobbies are running, spikeball, volleyball, kayaking, hiking, reading and watching movies/TV.

Favorite books/movies/music: My favorite book series is the "Harry Potter" series, one of my favorite movies is "Knives Out," and my favorite bands are the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

Favorite school subject: Everything but calculus.

Senior quote: “The only time I set the bar low is for limbo.” — Michael Scott

What has been your proudest moment in your school career? My proudest moment in high school was probably dunking during our school’s lip sync at the Battle for the Paddle.

What has been the biggest challenge you overcame to become top of your class? Chemistry and calculus were definitely the biggest challenges.

What is one of your favorite school memories, from K-12? One of my favorite school memories was beating Sandpoint in the Battle for the Paddle senior year.

What are your plans for after high school? I plan to attend the College of Idaho or Seattle Pacific University and study political science or criminal justice.

Who has been your biggest influence or your biggest cheerleader through your academic journey? My biggest cheerleaders were definitely my mom and my sister Katy.

What will you miss most about high school? I’ll probably miss my friends the most.

What advice do you have for younger students that will help them excel in their studies? Take your time when you’re studying/doing homework and make sure you understand what it is you’re studying.

What is your legacy to your school? Hopefully, I’ll be remembered by my senior project panel for my presentation about animal abuse.

Any lasting thoughts? I’m extremely thankful for my parents, teachers, coaches, classmates and everyone else who has supported me.
