Many varieties of hot and cold coffees, teas, Belgian Liege waffles, in-house-made pastries, beer and wine are offered at Union Roasters, now open in The Northern complex north of Maverik at Ramsey Road and Hanley Avenue.

With lounge chair seating by the fire, bartop seating and a drive-through, hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Retail items are related to coffee and include candles, containers, shorts and caps.

Opening a patient service center, Incyte Diagnostics will open June 22 in Suite 105 of Prairie Shopping Center in Hayden.

Phlebotomists will collect blood samples to send to the new clinical laboratory in Spokane Valley and will serve clinicians in the Hayden-Coeur d’Alene area.
