Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to E. Mctavish Ave for a trespassing/unwanted. The R/P reported her landlord was trying to get into her home while her sister and kids were inside. Upon Deputies arrival, entry had not been made. 20-20563

• Deputies responded to W. Moon shine Ct for a family dispute. A mother reported 14 year old son who is a habitual runaway, was at the residence ransacking the home. Deputies spoke with the son and warned him of the consequences of his behavior and poor choices. Deputies completed FI. 20-20584

• Deputies assisted P&P with a felony warrant at W. Diagonal Rd. Upon arrival the suspect fled on foot. A K-9 Deputy and his partner Pogo tracked the male for over a quarter of a mile in a heavily wooded area before he ultimately surrendered. The male was transported to PSB and booked in on his warrant for absconding and possession of controlled substance. 20-20594

• Deputies responded to Hayden Lake Rd X Red Hawk Trail for a suspicious vehicle occupied by two people. Deputies identified two occupants who were camping in their vehicles. 20-20572

• Deputies responded to Spokane River for an unoccupied boat floating down the river. They took out a boat and was unable to locate. 20-20574

• A Deputy arrested a male on a probation violation warrant. 20-20593

• Deputies assisted Detectives on S. Bonnell Road with the arrest a male for domestic battery. 20-20612

• Deputies responded to Rancho Viejo in Hayden for a found child wearing jean shorts only and no shoes. The child was identified as and was the same child found at Hayden City Hall yesterday. Deputies transported the child to his grandmother’s. While Deputies was speaking with the mother of the child they identified a male and arrested him for his warrant. Deputies also charged the mother for injury to child. CPS was made aware of the two incidents. 20-20607/20-20616

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Hayden Deputy did some follow up on the Habitat for Humanity thefts and was able to track down a suspect and retrieve the property he was storing at his house. 20-20672

• The Shift handled several other routine calls but nothing notable. They did receive a call from Rathdrum PD of a gathering at the Super 1 Foods, but they did not request any assistance.

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to an address in Hayden regarding a suicide attempt. A male texted 911 advising he had taken three bottles of pills and drank alcohol. He intended to “go to sleep forevermore”. The male was contacted and admitted he intended to commit suicide. He was transported to the hospital and placed on a PC hold. 20-200683

• Deputies responded to W. Prairie Ave. for a report of a trespassing. An unknown male was on the property and when he was confronted by the homeowner he took off. 20-20685

• Deputies responded to N. Log Arch Ln. for a domestic dispute. The male half came home after drinking with friends and instigated an argument with female accusing her of cheating. An argument ensued and female ended up pushing the male. They argued a little more and then decided to separate just prior to our arrival. The female was charged for domestic battery in the presence of a child. 20-20687

• Deputies took a runaway report from N. Oriole Rd. of a 16 year old male, who left the house without permission at approximately 0030 hours and had not returned. The juvenile was last seen wearing a t-shirt, basketball shorts and did not have shoes. Deputies spent a considerable amount of time searching the area, but he could not be located. He was signed as a runaway and entered into NCIC. 20-20688
