Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to a property damage crash on Dolliver Rd. While in the area, Deputies patrolled Loffs Bay, Hamaker Rd. and Rockford Bay Rd.

• Detectives assisted P&P on serving an Agent’s Warrant on a male suspect. At the residence, they located additional drugs and paraphernalia in the male’s room and in his female companion’s purse. The male was arrested on new charges for Possession of Heroin and Possession of Methamphetamine. The female was also arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 20-29896

• Deputies handled an employee theft at the Black Rock Resort where an employee rang up expensive items for lowered prices over the past several years. The total amount of loss was over $18,000. 20-29922

• CSO handled a vehicle burglary at the Casino involving a suitcase being taken from a vehicle. The items were later recovered by Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. 20-29920

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies handled a sex offense at the CDA Casino. R/P was upset that while they were in the hot tub, another couple were in there “performing lewd acts” with a minor also in the hot tub. Upon the Deputies investigation, no crime occurred. 20-30045

• Deputies responded to Harrison Boat Docks for a welfare check on a highly intoxicated male. Deputies contacted a male who was just intoxicated. Deputies cleared with warning. 20-30052

• Detectives located a wanted subject at a job site near Lancaster and Rimrock. The male was arrested leaving the site for his felony warrant and charged for possession of paraphernalia (meth pipe and marijuana pipe) 20-29967

• A Deputy arrested a male at adult misdemeanor probation office on his probation violation. 20-29994

• Deputies responded to E. 12th Ave for a citizen dispute. Two females were fighting over money and medications. Deputies had been out to the residence during day shift. The females had left prior to deputy’s arrival. 20-29974

• Deputies responded to Dalton City Hall for a domestic dispute. R/P reported to transients were outside in the park fighting. A male and female were on scene arguing. Deputies completed a FI. 20-30004

• Deputies responded to N. Cliff House Rd and arrested a female on her warrant for possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia. 20-30032

• Deputies responded to W. Hudlow Dr and arrested a female on her warrant for possession of controlled substance. 20-30057

• A Deputy stopped a male at Hwy 95 X Kidd Island. He was charged for DUI (under 21). 20-30072

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• On his way into work, a Deputy stopped a vehicle at Ramsey and Dolan. He subsequently arrested the driver for DWP and DUI. .090/.099 20-30044

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at Hayden and Government. During the investigation one of the passengers, lied about his identity. Once his real identity was learned it was discovered he had a warrant. A K-9 Deputy and his K9 partner were also on scene. K9 Dino alerted to the vehicle and a subsequent search yielded paraphernalia. The passenger was arrested for his warrant, obstruction, and possession of paraphernalia. 20-30066

• Deputies responded to Highland Drive for a single vehicle crash. Four juveniles were in the vehicle when they swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle sustained extensive damage, but none of the occupants suffered any major injuries. Parents were called to the scene to pick up the juveniles. 20-30081

• Deputies stopped a vehicle at Echo and Hudlow. While issuing the driver his citations, A K-9 Deputy and K9 Dino completed an exterior sniff of the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a meth pipe. The driver was issued a citation for possession of paraphernalia as well as the other traffic violations. 20-30079

• A Patrol Sergeant stopped a vehicle at Seltice and Compton. He observed the driver to be intoxicated with an open container in the center console. A Patrol Deputy arrived on scene and conducted a DUI investigation. The driver was extremely uncooperative with the evaluations and subsequently arrested for DUI refusal. She then refused to walk to the Deputy’s patrol vehicle and sat on the sidewalk in protest. She had to be carried to the vehicle where she refused to get inside. Deputies had to place her into the back seat. She also demanded she be taken to Kootenai Health and wanted to admit herself into KBH due to being suicidal. She was transported to KCPSB where she was uncooperative with jail staff and quickly placed on suicide watch. The driver was charged for DUI, open container, and resisting arrest. 20-30089

• Deputies responded to W Old Station Road for a cardiac issue and was advised CPR was in progress. Despite lifesaving efforts, the patient was pronounced deceased on scene. Deputies completed the investigation and did not discover anything suspicious. 20-30094
