Notable calls for the day!

07-20-20

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the residence on Rice Ave after learning a female believed there to be bombs in the residence and other things that could harm her. A search of the residence turned up fireworks, and this could have been the “bombs” the female was referring to. It appears the female has some possible mental health issues and the Deputies transported her to the Crisis Center so they could assist her further. 20-29128

• Marine 3 responded to the Harrison Boat Docks for a reported Injury Boat Crash regarding a 14 year old male that broke his toe while riding a PWC. Marine handled. 20-29141

• Deputies responded to N. Hayden Pines for a Citizen Dispute involving the park manager and a female tenant. The park manager told her she was “kicked out” and had alleged tenant had stolen a trailer there. The call was deemed Civil between two different parties trying to sell the same mobile trailer. 20-29162

• A Deputy handled an Alcohol Offense call involving a male subject on Instagram/Facebook providing alcohol to young females in the form of alcohol infused gummy bears and jello shots etc. The Deputy did some investigating and learned the male who uses the name/handle of “Candman_KH” and his identity was learned from Facebook. There were no other leads at the time of the report, and it will be forwarded to ISP investigations/ABC for further. 20-29173

• Deputies responded to E. Ohio Match Rd. reference a Dispute between a male and his roommates. According to the female roommate, the male is using Krokodil and last night wanted to get KCSO to respond to the residence so he could point a flashlight at incoming Deputies and get them to shoot him “Suicide By Cop” At this time unknown why, however swing shift units were update on this info, and the report is forthcoming. 20-29159

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to a possible domestic report at N. Davis Circle in Hayden where the suspect fled the scene. While en route to the scene, a male matching the suspect’s description was contacted. It turns out this person was unrelated to the domestic but highly intoxicated and wandering the area. The units on scene tried several numbers of friends to pick him up but were unsuccessful. After the units were unable to find him a ride to a local friend’s house he was placed into custody for an intox hold.

• The above domestic call was determined to be a stalking and a report was completed.

• Deputies responded to Hauser Lake Rd. X Three Forks Rd. for a possible DUI crash. The female driver left the scene prior to our arrival. She had multiple warrants out of Washington and it is believed she fled because of her warrants. The passenger RO was going to make arrangements to recover the vehicle in the morning. There was no DUI, a crash report was taken and the vehicle was tagged for 48 hour removal.

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Multiple units started to Highway 95 x MM 400 to assist CDATPD who was on a T-stop in a fight. We were cleared before any county unit arrived.

• Deputies responded to the Banner Bank on Hayden Ave for a burglary alarm. It turns out the road construction crew shut off the power which set off the alarm.

• Deputies responded to a DUI/Reckless Driver call on Highway 95 x Garwood. The witness saw a vehicle driving recklessly and only with 3 tires. They arrived and contacted the driver and passenger who were both highly intoxicated. The driver gave them the runaround but witnesses stated that he was driving. The driver was charged for DUI and Reckless and the passenger was cited and released for MIP. It was also learned that the driver was involved in a Hit and Run and Fail to notify crash from last week in CDA. He was issued a citation on those charges as well. 20-29257/20-29264

• Multiple units again started en route to cover CDATPD Code 3 as he had one at gunpoint on a T-stop but were canceled before they arrived.

• The shift responded to a rollover accident on Prairie x Meyer called in automatically by the vehicle. The vehicle was traveling WB on Prairie when the driver fell asleep and drove into the ditch and hit the tracks causing the car to flip and roll into the field. Off duty CDAPD Officer was on scene shortly after on his way home and had to help extricate the driver from the car. 20-29267

• The shift responded to assist CDAPD at Pandion Dr. for a male who had a misdemeanor PV warrant and his father called and said he had been on the run and was at his house. As CDAPD arrived the male crawled onto the roof of the house. He then entered another bedroom where his sister and her kids were sleeping. CDAPD was able to get the sister and kids out but the male refused to come out. KCSO and CDAPD units made entry and took the male into custody as he was hiding beside the bed. 20-29269

• Deputies responded to Mt Carrol for an unconscious male. They started CPR but to no avail. The unattended report was handled by day shift.

• Deputies responded to a verbal domestic at Highway 53 x Pleasantview. ISP was on scene handling as they arrived first. It was cleared unfounded as the male and female were only arguing due to her recently getting out of jail. 20-29278
