Post Falls City Council to consider budget, annexations
The Post Falls City Council will discuss its tentative fiscal year 2021 budget, five land annexations, and the Black Bay Depot development in its meeting at 6 tonight at Post Falls City Hall.
City administrators will take the next step on finalizing the Post Falls 2021 budget.
The Land Application Annexation considers 717 acres of public reserve property north of the future Bodine Avenue, east of Chase Road, and west of Highway 41. The Community Forest Annexation covers 437 acres south of the Spokane River, north of West Riverview Drive and west of Q’emlin Park. Council members will additionally vote on whether to formalize the Quiet Ridge Annexation, the Daeland Annexation, and the Vintage Acquisition Annexation as well as the Simon Zone Change.
Parks and Recreation director Dave Fair will present a report on the Black Bay Depot on Third Avenue that underwent a remodel in 2019 to offer community recreation programs.
Other items on the agenda include city attorney Warren Wilson presentation on increasing the Planning and Zoning Commission committee members to eight.
