LEGION BASEBALL: Lums fall to Expos

COEUR d’ALENE — The Spokane Expos rode an 11-run third inning to a 17-3 victory over the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen “AA” squad on Sunday at Thorco Field.

Jeter Schuerman hit a two-run single and Elijah Hainline added a two-run double in the third for the Expos. Justin Spencer struck out eight in five innings for the visitors.

Quinn Conces went 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored for Coeur d’Alene (10-10-1).

Coeur d’Alene is scheduled to play the Northern Lakes “A” team today at 5:30 p.m. at Lakeland High in Rathdrum.
