Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy responded to the Coeur d’Alene Casino for an auto burglary. An unknown suspect had stolen a set of golf clubs out of the back of a truck. A report was completed. 20-28343

• A Deputy responded to Medimont Rd. for a 911 disconnect. It was determined a construction crew cut the line while working on the property.

• A Deputy responded to W Strawberry for a non-injury crash. Upon his arrival he learned the driver was driving eastbound and dropped his cigarette onto his lap which distracted him. He then drove on to the curb and hit a light pole and basketball hoop before coming to a stop. The Deputy issued citations and completed a report 20-28363

• A Deputy responded to the Fernan West boat lunch for a Battery. Upon their arrival they learned a female had pushed someone off the dock and into the water. As they fell in they hit a fishing pole breaking it. The Deputy completed a report. 20-28387

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• While watching a house, Detectives stopped two vehicles leaving the scene at the same time. The first vehicle stopped had a known wanted subject as a passenger. He was arrested for his warrant. As Detectives made his initial contact on the other vehicle, the driver pulled away and a brief pursuit ensued, ending after the passengers physically got the driver to stop in a field. The driver then ran on foot and was arrested by Detectives after a short foot pursuit. A male was charged with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Felony Eluding, Resisting, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methadone and Possession of Stolen Property (the license plate had been stolen off of another vehicle). 20-28404/20-28410

• Deputies responded to Hauser Lake Boat launch and issued citations for parking violations.

• Back Country Deputies responded to FSR 209 X FSR 413 for an injury crash. RP reported a female injured and stuck inside vehicle. 20-28444

• Deputies responded to N Boysenberry Loop for an overdose. The R/P said her 15 year old daughter was upset over “boundaries conversation” and drank rubbing alcohol. The juvenile was transported via private transport to KH. 20-28449

• Deputies responded to Athol Super 1 for a detained shoplifter. Loss Prevention had a male detained. The male had placed a container of steel cleaner in his bag after purchasing other items and left the store without paying for the cleaner. He claimed it was a mistake as he had plenty of money to pay for the item. At the request of LP, the male was cited and released for petit theft and trespassed from Super 1. 20-28451

• Deputies responded to W. Hollister Hills Dr. for a mal injury/neighbor dispute. The R/P says his neighbor was shooting a paintball gun at his fence and he felt that if he approached his neighbor, he would get a gun pulled on him. Upon Deputies arrival, the R/P didn’t want to press charges, but wanted deputies to talk to his neighbor. 20-28467

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the CDA Casino after a security guard found a bag of methamphetamine on the ground. Video surveillance tracked the suspect, who was still on scene, and he was detained by deputies along with his female companion. The male was arrested for possession of methamphetamine after admitting to dropping his meth, as well as an admission to ownership of a larger bag of methamphetamine found inside the vehicle he arrived in. The female was arrested for an outstanding warrant, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of paraphernalia. 20-28494 and 20-28499

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at Hwy 95 and Miles Ave. He learned the driver had an active warrant out of Boundary County. Upon arresting the male he admitted to possessing marijuana in his pocket. When the marijuana was not found, the Deputy searched the vehicle and found the marijuana inside a re-sealed package of Oreos located on the passenger floor board. Inside the package were some psilocybin mushrooms, which the male was unaware of. The Deputy questioned the passenger who was removed from the seat where the items were located. The passenger was arrested for possession of the mushrooms and cited and released for concealing evidence. The driver was arrested on his warrant as well as possession of marijuana and possession of a schedule I drug, as morphine not belonging to him was located in the vehicle as well. 20-28496

• A Deputy located a known wanted person at a residence on N 13th St and arrested him for his felony warrant. 20-28502
