POLICE: Defunding no real option

We are in a crisis like nothing seen before in my lifetime (eight decades and counting). And all because one evil cop chose to hold his knee on defenseless George Floyd’s neck for eight minutes, 46 seconds — a cop with 18 prior infractions of abusive behavior — and still a cop!

This smells to the high heavens! Totally justifiable peaceful demonstrations have turned violent. Thugs and human animals have pretty much taken over in many cities across America. The great things President Trump has done for the African American community (highest Black employment in history — and much more) were wiped out in a heartbeat. So now — what to do?

The Black Lives Matter movement, Antifa, The Squad and Radical Left Democrats would choose to defund the police. This would be like cutting off your arm because you had a splinter in your finger — beyond stupid, extremely dangerous and zero common sense! I would bet that 99% of cops are good, decent men and women, doing great jobs as they go to work each day, never knowing if they’ll be alive that evening to have dinner with their families.

And by the way, if we eliminate them, there’s a chance we won’t be alive to have dinner with our families! We are the great country we are because we adhere to the rule of law and have police to enforce it. Without it, we’ll have just what we have now in NYC, Minneapolis, Seattle and most other Democrat-controlled cities — a colossal humongous royal mess!
