IRONY: No extra charge, folks

Thanks Coeur d’Alene Press for printing letters to the editor. It’s a never-ending source of laughs. The irony of David Burkle’s LTE of Sunday, July 12 is so thick you can cut it.

He wrote, “How many people get shot every year by a drunk person?”

As I read that, the local morning TV news reported two people were shot in the Iron Horse alley the night before.

I don’t know how that extrapolates out over a year but I guess we now have a starting place.
