Post Falls DMV closed after virus exposure

| July 16, 2020 4:25 PM

The Department of Motor Vehicles office in Post Falls is closed until further notice after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The asymptomatic individual reportedly worked at the Post Falls office from July 6 through July 10.

Customers who visited the Post Falls location, as well as employees who worked there during that period, may have been exposed to the virus.

Individuals who visited the office between July 6 and July 10 are advised to contact their health care provider, as are their family members.

All appointments to the Post Falls office for vehicle licensing have been rerouted to the Coeur d’Alene office.

The driver’s license office is still open in both Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene.

There is no estimate for when the office will reopen at this time.
