Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to a Panic Alarm at the Medicine Mann Pharmacy located in the Super One Foods-Hayden location. Upon contact the Deputies learned the activation was accidental. 20-27788

• Deputies responded to the Wells Fargo parking area (Hayden) reference a Welfare Check on 2 kids/dogs in a silver Dodge caravan parked in the west parking lot of the location. On scene Deputies were able to locate the parents, and they were warned for leaving the kids in the car unattended. 20-27785

• While at the DMV- Post Falls securing a found needle, a Deputy checked out with an elderly male who was upset with staff there due to the long wait. She was able to calm him down. 20-27789

• Deputies responded to E. Maplewood Ave. for a reported Citizen Dispute. On scene, Deputies contacted a male who was assaulted by another male. That male was arrested by citizen arrest by the victim for assault. 20-27796

• Deputies responded to JDC for a Warrant Service. 20-27823

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to S. Hwy 95 for an unattended death report. Nothing suspicious was noted.

• Units responded to N Hamlet Trail for a battery between a female and her soon to be grandmother in law. The soon to be grandmother pushed the female over household chores. She did not wish pursuit of charges and the parties separated to resolve their problems. 20-27870.

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to S. Loffs Bay Rd for a Fire Assist. They were called there by FD/EMS for extra man power for a lift assist. 20-27937

• Deputies attempted to stop a speeding motorcycle on Seltice x Atlas. It spend northbound on Atlas then westbound on Nez Perce and disappeared into the field. He was able to get a possible plate on the motorcycle and will try to follow up later in the week. 20-27947

• A possible auto burglary was called in at E. Alpine Rd. The RP didn’t want to report anything, he just wanted to report his security camera went off and he saw two people outside with flashlights and they may have gone through his son’s car 45 minutes before he called. He didn’t want contact, just wanted to go back to bed and we were unable to contact him for further. Units flooded the area in an attempt to locate the suspects but were unable to. However, at approximately 0630, multiple auto burglaries were being reported in that same area.

• Deputies took a report of a truck stolen from W. Highway 53 overnight. A white crew cab 1 ton Chevy Silverado KX8986 was stolen from the business. There is no suspect information. It was entered NCIC. 20-27925

• At approximately 0700 the business at N Huetter called to report a suspicious motorcycle that matched the description of the one that ran from Deputies earlier. The bike was recovered and more follow up will be done.
