Lums coaching news

Paul Manzardo will be taking over as head coach of the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen class AA team for the remainder of the season, said Erik Karns, who had been the head coach. Manzardo had been the assistant coach. Karns will shift to the Lums’ 16U team, where he will be head coach. Karns and Manzardo were coaching both the AA and 16U teams.

“We hope that by keeping us isolated to a team and not moving kids between teams, we won’t have to shut down all teams if one team experiences a positive COVID test,” Karns said.

The AA and 16U teams have been shut down this season by a positive COVID test.
