Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle on I-90 near mile marker 5. Upon contact, she observed the female driver appear to have some sort of baggie hidden in her bra. The Deputy informed the female of what she saw and ordered her to exit the vehicle. The driver made some furtive movements and handed the bag off to her passenger where he was attempting to stuff the bag in the seat. The driver after initially failing to follow the order to exit the vehicle, finally stepped out and was detained. The passenger was then contacted and was also not exiting the vehicle as ordered. He was ultimately assisted out of the vehicle and detained. A search revealed the bag, but nothing of evidentiary value was located in it. A used rubber tourniquet was located in the passenger door that had dried blood on it. Both occupants of the vehicle admitted to using meth and heroin. Both occupants were arrested for obstructing and passenger received an additional charge of possession of paraphernalia. Once the Deputy was able to review her dash camera footage, she observed the passenger clearly throw an object out the window. The Deputy responded back to the scene and was able to find a baggie of heroin. She responded back to the jail where both occupants were charged with possession of heroin and concealing evidence. 20-27042
