Manzardo, a first baseman from Lake City High now playing at Washington State, hit a grand slam for the Stingers (4-2) — a collegiate summer baseball league team in the Northwoods League in Willmar, Minn. — in a 10-4 win over the Rochester Honkers on Sunday. Manzardo, who finished the game with five runs batted in, leads the team in hitting through last weekend with a .462 (6 of 13) average, with six runs scored and two home runs this season.

Jake Pfennigs

West Linn Knights

Pfennigs, a right-handed pitcher from Post Falls High now playing at Oregon State, will play for the West Linn Knights of the Wild West League, a collegiate summer baseball league based in Oregon. Games will be played starting Saturday at North Marion High in Aurora. The four-team league is comprised of Division I and other collegiate players from the Portland area.

Kolden, an infielder from Lake City High and now playing at Washington State, has appeared in four games for the Rox (2-3), a Northwoods League team in St. Cloud, Minn.
