Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies stopped a vehicle on I-90 near mm 27, and issued the occupants citations for drugs. 20-26762

• Deputies responded to the area of the Silver Lake Mall (behind Michaels) for Located Runaways from Innercept. They were given back custody of the juveniles. 20-26770

• Deputies began responding to a Suspicious Circumstance, possible Stalking at that location. The R/P called in advising an older male with white hair had been following her, and began following her in his vehicle while she began walking. A friend of the R/P arrived in the area, and as more people showed up the male left. She was advised the situation would be documented, and to call back if she found he was following her again. 20-26776

• Deputies responded to the Farmers Insurance/Party Now parking lot area on Government Way in reference to a reported Fight between a Dad and Son. On scene it was determined the son is a highly Autistic, and “Dad” is his caregiver who had to initiate a restraint due to the son starting to go out of control. 20-26779

• Deputies assisted Detectives on a Warrant Arrest (P.V.) for a male and transported him to the PSB. 20-26791

• Deputies responded to N. Atlas Rd. for a reported Trespassing concerning an ongoing easement/boundary line dispute. On scene, Deputies learned that two neighbors are having an ongoing argument about the width of the easement, and one of the males wants to widen the road to 60 feet across. 20-26802

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Tribal and Benewah County had an incident involving a stolen vehicle with the suspect possibly breaking into someone’s house and requested K9 in case there was a track. While enroute Central Dispatch advised shots fired and was requesting more help and armor support. Multiple units were enroute and just before we arrived on scene, Tribal advised the suspect was in custody.

• Deputies responded to the Casino for a domestic report. A report was completed and charges will be forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for review.

• Deputies responded to N Westwind Dr. in Post Falls for a possible custodial interference report. Once on scene it was determined no crime was committed and call notes were made.

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to Athol Super 1 for a shoplifter. A suspect stole some items and was cited and released for petit theft. 20-26860

• Deputies responded to the Silverwood RV Park for a prowler call. The RP said she heard people messing with her camper storage bins and saw them with flashlights. They walked the park and couldn’t find anyone. Security was also made aware. 20-26874

• At the same time, Deputies responded to W. Riverview for a domestic. The RP said she was battered by her husband. However, once on scene, they learned the victim was drinking alcohol and taking sleeping pills and went to her husband and violently woke him up and he pushed her away. She then believed he violently attacked her, however, there was no evidence. It is believed she was out of it due to the alcohol and pills and thought her husband attacked her. It was cleared with an FI. 20-26875

• At the same time as the two above calls, a Suicide Threat came out on Riverview x Carpenter Loop. A Deputy and PFPD responded to cover him and he took a male on a PC hold.
