The center fielder and rising senior at Post Falls High went 3 for 5 with 6 RBIs — a three-run double in the fourth inning and a three-run triple in the eighth — as the Cardinals beat Moses Lake 15-13 last Tuesday in American Legion baseball. “His defense has really improved,” his coach and father Mick Zeller said. “And he’s always had a pretty good eye at the plate. He just works at it really hard; he probably hits 300 days out of the year.”
