Andrew J. Hightower
100th Birthday
It was a celebration! Andrew J. Hightower celebrated his (centurion) 100th birthday on Thursday, June 18, 2020, with family and friends.
His life has been well lived — he worked in the CCs and as a miner in the Silver Valley mines. He married Elsie Maki, had two daughters, Linda and Gloria. As a veteran, he served in the Army as a frontline Infantryman during World War II.
He had a service station business with Phil Priano and then Don Mutch in Kellogg and Spokane. He was a hunter, fisherman and a jack-of-all-trades. If it could be fixed, he could fix it.
His family honors him and the life he has lived!

The Ericksons were married July 5, 1980, in Bemidji, Minn. They moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1983.

Mike and Sue Delles
50th Anniversary
Mike and Sue Delles celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 25.
Susan Guske and Mike Delles dated while attending Moscow High School and were married three years later, on June 25, 1970, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Moscow. They both graduated from the University of Idaho. Sue received her degree in accounting in 1972 and Mike received his degree in civil engineering in 1973.
They lived in several cities throughout the country during the first five years after Mike’s graduation. They settled in the Seattle area in 1978, until their children graduated from the University of Washington, at which time they were thrilled to return to Idaho, in 1995.
They have three children: Jennifer Crutcher and her husband, Russ, of Puyallup, Wash.; Jason Delles and his wife, Trisha, of Lynnwood, Wash. and Julie Jackson and her husband, Andy, of Duvall, Wash. They are blessed with eight grandchildren.
After successful careers, Mike and Sue retired and began their love of travel by wintering in Arizona and Texas in their motorhome for four years while also occasionally traveling outside the country. They relocated from Meridian, Idaho, to Hayden in 2013, where they are active in their community and church. They continue to travel whenever possible. To date, they have traveled throughout all 50 states and 29 foreign countries, with plans to continue their overseas travels well into the future.
For their 50th anniversary, they traveled throughout eight European countries for two months last fall and celebrated with their family last weekend in their Hayden home.
