Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to the area of Government Way X Miles Ave. for an Unknown Injury Crash where it was reported a SUV collided with a power pole. Occupants out of the vehicle prior to LE arrival. 20-25431

• Deputies responded to Wal-Mart Hayden for a reported Hit and Run Crash in the parking lot. Originally, the run party; after being contacted by Deputies advised she left a note. Once it was described to her there was video of her not leaving a note, the driver admitted to the Deputy she was nervous about being in the minor damage crash. 20-25436

• Deputies responded to the intersection of Cave Bay Rd. X Cottonwood Rd. for an Unknown Injury One Vehicle Rollover. While responding, it was aired the occupant was able to exit the vehicle. Deputies took primary for the call. 20-25438

• Deputies responded to a two vehicle Property Damage Crash on Hayden near Hwy 95. The crash described as a fender/bender was moved into the Exxon Jifi Stop parking lot where the Deputy completed his investigation. 20-25442

• Deputies responded to N. Trails End Rd. for a reported Fight between two males in the driveway. On scene Deputies contacted the males, and learned the two got in an argument over a catalytic converter. After contacting the two parties involved, Deputies ascertained neither wanted to pursue charges and it appeared to be a mutual combat type situation. The R/P had an active Warrant and was arrested. 20-25459

• An off-Duty spotted a known male who had a felony warrant driving in a red VW Jetta southbound on Hwy 95 near Hayden. Deputies were able to stop the male on Abbey X Atlas where he was taken into custody for his Felony Prob. Violation warrant. 20-25461

• A Patrol Sergeant along with Fire/EMS responded to the area of Wolf Lodge / I-90 for what was originally thought to be a crash. It turned out however, a mother and her 12 year old son were kayaking, and had overturned the kayak in the water. The two were able to get to shore where she crawled up the bank for help. Neither were wearing lifejackets, and Deputies response was canceled by Fire/EMS

• Deputies responded to JDC and arrested a juvenile for his Warrant. 20-25485

Evening Shift responded to the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to W. Prairie Ave for a threatening. A male had a vehicle towed for the location and the owner of the vehicle had left him a voicemail that he was going to burn the building down. 20-25529

• Deputies responded to Fantasy Loop for a domestic. The RP heard scream of “Help Me” 3 times followed by banging sounds coming from the property. Deputies learned a female had who lives in a camper on the property had lost her dog and was screaming “help” to get assistance locating the dog. 20-25530

• A Deputy responded to E. Walrose Loop for a citizen dispute. Once on scene, Deputies learned there was a verbal argument between a female’s new boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend. Deputies cleared with call notes. 20-25532

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• A Deputy stopped a vehicle at the Huetter Rest Stop after he observed it driving the wrong way throughout rest stop, eventually driving head on towards another deputy. He contacted the occupants, and upon the contact he could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. He subsequently searched the vehicle and located methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, paraphernalia, and possible stolen property. One of the occupants also lied about her identity throughout the contact. One occupant was arrested for possession of heroin, methamphetamine, and paraphernalia. The other occupant was arrested for possession of heroin, paraphernalia, and false information to law enforcement. 20-25559
