COEUR d’ALENE — The Handshake Productions free summer concert that was planned for Sunday has been rescheduled, and another concert has been canceled, because of COVID-19.

The classic rock and country group Stagecoach West was set to play in Coeur d'Alene City Park the day after the Fourth of July, but will now perform in the park Sept. 27. The bluesy Sammy Eubanks will not be performing in Sherman Square Park on Tuesday evening as planned.

"My feelings on it are disappointment that the concerts have been rescheduled and/or canceled," Handshake Productions owner Chris Guggemos said Thursday. "A lot of people are really looking forward to concerts in the park and other activities just to be out."

He said the concert lineup and pandemic situation will be monitored week by week. As of press time, the CDA Big Band concert in the McIntire Family Park in Hayden on Thursday evening is still a go.
