Notable calls of the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies along with Fire/EMS from KCFR responded to the area of N. Pleasantview Rd. X W. Prairie Ave. for a reported Injury Crash involving a Vehicle vs. Bicyclist. Multiple units checked the area, and were UTL. 20-25263

• Deputies responded to N. Gleason in reference to a reported Fight. On scene it was determined a repo company arrived to repossess a Kia Soul. The owner heard trash cans being moved outside and went to investigate. Upon seeing the male trying to take her car, another male attempted to block her forward movement with arms/hands and allegedly bear hugged the victim. 20-25275

• Deputies responded to E. Kingswood Ln. to assist CDAPD for a possible Kidnapping. The offense occurred near 2nd and Garden. KCSO units responded to the county location to secure any possible evidence and to secure the victim. 20-25301

• At approximately 1220 hours, Backcountry Units along with KCSO SAR units located Missing Male Joel Brown in the Fernan Creek Drainage area. Due to being hypothermic; ground units requested an air asset with hoist capabilities. 20-24989

• As the result of a traffic stop near Honeysuckle and Hess, Deputies arrested a male for his warrant. 20-25320

• Deputies responded to N. Cornerstone Dr. (Bio-Life) in reference to an Unwanted Subject refusing to leave the premises. On scene Deputies contacted a male, and he was trespassed from the location. 20-25321

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to W. Trails End Rd. for an unknown medical “sick” call. It was relayed through fire that they would be staging and not be going in until KCSO ensured the scene was safe. Upon our arrival a male was found face down with possible symptoms of a heroin overdose. Narcan was administered and after doing a sweep of the patient it was discovered there was a belt around his neck. The belt was removed and EMS was called in to assess the patient. The male was transported to KH for evaluation and admitted. 20-25379

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to a burglary call at W. Highland Dr. where the homeowner heard an upstairs door close and footsteps. They abandoned the residence and called us. We responded and cleared the house. No signs of any crime were found. It is believed it was the wind that caused the noises. 20-25406

• A Deputy contacted a suspicious vehicle at the south end of Pleasant view occupied by an adult male and juvenile female. The juvenile female was out of the house without permission but her mother didn’t want to charge her with runaway. She did lie about who she was and was charged with curfew violation and false info. 20-25413
