Tubbs Hill cleanup scheduled for Sunday

The public is invited to the annual July 5 Tubbs Hill cleanup from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday.

Volunteers can gather garbage sacks at the Third Street entry and venture to uphill trails, beaches and the east side to gather litter. A container truck for the filled sacks will be at the Third Street entry.

Bottles of water will be available, and Bakery By The Lake will provide coffee. Frozen ice treats will be offered as participants return.
