Notable calls for the day!

Day Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to E. 22nd Ave. in reference to a reported Trespassing. On scene they contacted a male who advised he was being extorted from by a male subject who was refusing to leave the property. After investigating, Dep. Hunt concluded the situation was a civil issue, (eviction needed) and no crime had occurred. FI completed 20-25130

• Deputies responded to JDC in reference to a Juvenile Warrant. On scene, Deputies arrested a male for his warrant. 20-25093

• Deputies responded to W. Aloysius Way reference a Suspicious Vehicle. A blue Chevy Aveo had gone up the private road and stopped in the above driveway. The RP advised the location had already been broken into once before. Luckily, the RP and his wife were able to get great pictures of the male suspect driving, and the license plate of the vehicle. Upon running the plate provided, it appears the plates were fictitious. Units combed the area, and also cleared the house per the homeowner’s request. Supp added to original report 20-25076

• Deputies responded to the West Fernan Boat Launch in reference to a Disorderly Male allegedly urinating on a building, and setting off fireworks near the fishing area. The male was warned for several violations. F.I. completed. 20-25092

• A Deputy responded to Misd. Prob. and arrested a male for his Warrant. 20-25125

• Backcountry Units along with KCSO Detectives continued to work on the Missing Person case in the Fernan Area.

Evening Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies took a battery report from the Casino. The victim did not remain on scene so the entirety of the report was over the phone. 20-25169

• Deputies responded to W Honeysuckle Ave for a threatening report. Call notes indicated the victim was threatened by an ex-roommate so she armed herself with a 12 gauge shotgun and barricaded herself in her room and called for help. Upon our arrival and after removing all occupants from the residence it was determined a male suspect threatened to “kill” the R/Ps bunny and destroy another roommate’s computer because they were trying to evict him from the residence because he was selling marijuana from the residence. The male suspect was placed under citizen’s arrest for violation of I.C. 18-901 Assault. 20-25183

• During the investigation into the threatening call is was determined there could be a large amount of marijuana and other paraphernalia inside of the residence. The residence was secured and Deputies applied for a search warrant for the house. Once the search warrant was issued units were able to search and find cash, paraphernalia, marijuana edibles packaged for sale and marijuana. 20-25201

• Deputies responded to a T-bone crash near the entrance to Silverwood at Lawrence Rd. X Bunco Rd. At the conclusion of his investigation he placed the male driver under arrest for DUI-Excessive. .289/.299. 20-25190

Night Shift handled the following notable calls:

• Deputies responded to Showgirls for a disturbance. As they were arriving, the drunk patron was reported to be driving away. They were able to locate him at Stateline Walmart and arrest him for DUI. 20-25244

• Deputies responded to I90 x MM17 for an injury crash. ISP was called out and took over the scene once they arrived.
