JULY 4: Families, step right up

| July 1, 2020 1:20 AM

I would like to challenge the community for a call to action. We are not going to find leadership in city hall and we don’t need it from the chamber of commerce. We can unite and celebrate within our own neighborhoods.

It’s time we step up to lead ourselves. We don’t have much time to accomplish this but it can be done. This coming Fourth of July could very well be one of the most important birthdays of our great nation in the last 244 years. Contact your neighbors and HOAs and unite as an Independent people to host small mini parades, have a block party. I am organizing a kid parade in my neighborhood because they are the ones who need to feel what the Fourth of July signifies.

Decorate wagons, bicycles, push carts and come together as friends, neighbors and Americans. Have fun, be safe and God Bless America.
