Notable calls for the day!

- Deputies responded to E. Walrose Loop for a welfare check. An R/P called to report her sister in law was in an abusive relationship. The female has texted in the past week that she has been beaten by her boyfriend. The female reported to have injuries including a “broken voice box” that would not allow her to talk. Deputies researched information and went to the Walrose location for a welfare check. There was no answer at the door but movement could be heard inside. Eventually both the female and the boyfriend were contacted. They were uncooperative. There was some indication that the information that was relayed regarding the female was accurate. However, she denied being a victim of any violence and refused all offers of assistance and help. A report was completed.

- Deputies handled a property damage, non-injury crash at Wilbur Ave and Davenport St.

- Deputies handled a verbal domestic dispute at the Frontier Ice Arena. A male and female were arguing about child custody. Ultimately it was determined there was no custody paperwork in place and deputies were able to work with the couple to arrange visitation with the kids until an agreement could be put in place.

- A residential burglary report was taken at E Tellum Ave. The victim claimed her mother and mother’s boyfriend broke into the house to remove property. A marijuana pipe was also located. A report was taken.

- Deputies took a battery report at N. Chase Rd. A male had been allowed to stay on the property but was recently asked to leave. The male came back to the address to get his mail and an argument ensued where the male battered the property owner. The male had left prior to our arrival and could not be located.

- Deputies conducted a welfare check of a male at N. Rocking R Rd. The male made comments to a healthcare provider earlier in the day that he wanted to start the car in his garage and “End it.” It was reported the male had lost his wife in the last year and had been depressed. The male was contacted and denied being suicidal but was very cranky. He lives with his son. His son was contacted by telephone and advised of the situation. The son said he would watch to ensure the male was taken care of.

- Deputies attempted to locate a suicidal male who called a family member and said he was going to commit suicide by overdose. He said he was on a side road in Hayden. Central Dispatch was able to talk to the male for some time but was not able to get him to cooperate with getting help. A ping of his phone showed it in Spokane and the call was transferred to them.

- Deputies responded to N. Aqua Circle for a trespassing call. The R/P said his mother, who is homeless, broke into his trailer that was parked along the side of the business. Deputies responded and located the mother. She was transported to the Crisis Center to receive help for her issues. The son did not want to report a crime.

- Regarding the domestic call at E. Painters Loop from yesterday, Felony P&P called and advised the male half was at their office. Deputies responded and conducted a follow-up interview regarding the domestic. The male was placed into custody on an Agent’s Warrant and transported to KPSB

- Deputies took a report of someone defecating in the driveway of Hull Loop. There were no cameras or any way to identify the possible suspect. It is unknown if it is human or animal at this time.

- A report was taken regarding the malicious injury to property of a UTV in the area of FSR 206 and FSR 1552. A male reported he broke down in the back country and when he returned to retrieve his UTV, it had been damaged.

- Deputies responded to the area of Seltice Way and Welsley Rd. for a report of an injury vehicle vs. pedestrian crash. It was also reported people were involved in a physical fight on scene. When deputies arrived they determined the incident was actually across the State Line in Washington. Deputies stood by until SCSO arrived to take over the investigation.

- Deputy Creighton responded to W. Blueberry Circle for a medical call. Upon arrival, a male was located deceased inside the residence when his son’s girlfriend stopped by to check on him. The male suffered severe medical problems.

- Deputies responded to E Hayden Lake Road for a report of a psychological. A female was acting out and throwing things inside the residence, demanding to go to the hospital. According to the reporting party, the female was possible suffering from withdrawals from illegal drugs. On scene, it was learned the female was upset because her father did not purchase her gas as she requested. Apparently this is a common occurrence at the residence. The reporting party refused to press charges against the female and a CV report was completed. 20-03489

- Deputies responded to E Jadynn Court for a domestic dispute. A male called in stating his wife was intoxicated, throwing a fit, and breaking items in the residence. Upon arrival the female and male were located in the open garage. The female was obviously intoxicated, claimed the argument was over the male’s daughter not listening, as well as her believing the male was making false accusations towards her. Deputies hosted a mediation session between female and male to try and work out the issue. In the end, the female chose to accept a ride from Deputies to a motel with her 5 year old son. The male did not wish to pursue charges for the items that the female broke, however, she was cited and released for domestic battery. 20-03491

- Deputies responded to Ferrians Road for a citizen dispute. A male called to report that he and his father, were in an argument. Upon arrival it was determined that no crime had occurred, and the “argument” was about son’s desire to go the Crisis Center for essentially a sleep over. Despite efforts to explain that the Crisis Center was not to be used as he initially intended, the son eventually stated he needed assistance with coping with the many stresses he has in life. The father then conceded to taking his son to the Crisis Center. 20-03498

- Deputies responded to S. Signal Point Road to assist Fire with a structure fire. What started as a chimney fire in the basement lead to a cabinet becoming engulfed in flames? Fire personnel were able to get the fire out and the residents were able to occupy the structure. 20-03496

- Deputies responded to an unknown injury crash at Scarcello and Ramsey. Upon arrival they located a one ton flatbed pickup on its side, unoccupied. Once the tow arrived, the driver arrived as well. The driver was intoxicated, however, he claimed he became intoxicated after the crash occurred, which was confirmed by his neighbor. The driver was cited for failure to report a non-injury crash to law enforcement. 20-03509

- Deputies attempted to stop a car for doing 100 mph on Huetter and Prairie. The vehicle took over a mile to decide to stop after it the stop was attempted. Eventually the vehicle stopped and the driver, was arrested. 20-03524

- Deputies stopped and arrested a male driver for DUI at Hayden and Maple. 20-03523

- Deputies were dispatched to an unknown injury accident at Wellsley and Seltice Way. Once on scene it was determined the accident was in Washington.
