Sorry it is a long one!

- Deputies responded to N. Twinlow Rd. in reference to a possible Burglary. On scene the R/P reported people (from next door) had entered his trailer last night around 2000 to 0130 hours and bothered him the whole night. After speaking with R/P for some time, and attempting to make contact with the neighbor, the call was determined to be unfounded. The R/P has called in a few times lately, and made the same call later after Deputies had just been at his residence. It is unknown at this time if he is suffering from some hallucinations, but he denied being on any medications. 20-03020

- Deputies responded to the area of N. Government Way and W. Hayden Ave. reference a Suspicious Subject allegedly opening mailboxes while walking southbound on Government Way. Units contacted a male subject. The male denied taking any mail, and when the RP was contacted, he advised he did not see the male take anything after opening/closing approx. 4-5 mailboxes. The male was cooperative and advised Deputies on scene this is “his routine” when he takes his walks. An FI was completed in the event someone is missing any mail. 20-03035

- Deputies responded to the area of N. Government Way and W. Commerce Dr. for an Unknown Injury Crash described as two vehicles involved. After medical arrived on scene, it was determined everyone was out of their vehicles, and Deputies cleared with a report. 20-03070

- Deputies responded to the area o f N. Meyer Rd. and W. Hayden Ave. for a reported Slide Off. On scene two males were contacted. It was learned that one of the males had a warrant and he was taken into custody. 20-03037

- Deputies assisted Detectives with a search warrant in Post Falls. Methamphetamine were located and further investigation is continuing.

- Deputies responded to the area of E. Tellum Ave. for a reported Animal Bite involving two dogs. On scene a male’s dog attacked another dog causing a male on scene who was trying to break up the fight to go into some type of a seizure. EMS responded, and the dog was taken to the shelter for quarantine. 20-03076

- Deputies responded to the area of N. Aero Dr. for a Suspicious Female asking questions at local businesses. It was determined she is a U.S. census taker, and could probably have used a different introduction to folks she was trying to illicit information from. 20-03088

- Deputies were assisting ISP in attempting to locate a vehicle reference a drugs investigation. They located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop with ISP arriving shortly thereafter to assist. Both female passengers gave false names and were arrested on their warrants and a rock of meth was located in a cigarette pack and two ounces of meth were located concealed on the person of another female. 20-03129

- Deputies arrested a male in the PSB parking lot on his warrant after his mother drove him there to turn himself in. 20-03138

- Deputies responded to the Fernan Saddle area reference an elderly female who called saying her vehicle was stuck in the snow. The female insisted she was in WA, but the phone hit off a tower at the Fernan Saddle. The female and another vehicle were located stuck in the slush at the saddle. While the units were there, two other vehicles got stuck on the 499 at the saddle. The units were able to get the three additional vehicles out, but the battery in the original R/Ps vehicle was dead and required a tow. It was obvious that the elderly female was suffering from the onset of dementia as she believed she was in Spokane and in the area of a dance club. Her family was called and came to pick her up. 20-03156

- Deputies responded to a reported possible injury crash later determined to be a slide off in Dalton Gardens. Shortly before they arrived on scene, the vehicle was pushed out by other drivers, but Deputies located it leaving the area with snow falling from the undercarriage. They stopped the vehicle, driven by a female adult, who was arrested by for excessive DUI (.201/.202). 20-03175

- Deputies investigated a rollover crash on Prairie Avenue x Spokane Street. The female driver, fell asleep at the wheel but was not DUI. 20-03190

- Deputies stopped a vehicle on Pleasant View Rd and Expo Parkway. He contacted a female and could smell the odor of marijuana emanating from within the vehicle. A search revealed marijuana edibles. The female was cited and released for PCS. 20-03183

- A Deputy contacted a female, walking along Heutter near Wyoming. She said she was drinking downtown with her husband, and he was highly intoxicated so they left. On the way home, he kept opening the door in his drunken stupor. She said she pulled off the side of the road, got out with the intention of closing the door, but her husband got in the driver’s seat and left her stranded on the road. She was given a ride home, however, the husband was not at the residence and it was unknown where he went. Deputies searched for the vehicle but were unable to locate it. An FI was completed. 20-03185

- Deputies responded to N Bramble Bush where a female R/P reported her car was stolen after telling her ex-boyfriend he can’t drive it anymore. He showed up with the car while she as on the phone. They fought over the keys and he tried to remove the keys from her hand by force until she screamed for help. The male was arrested for attempted robbery and possession of paraphernalia. 20-03187

01-25-2020

- Deputies responded to E. Shiloh Lp. reference a Family Dispute. An update to the call was a male subject was holding two females at knifepoint. This information had been texted to the RP by a fifteen year old female on scene. After arriving, Deputies investigated and learned the male was extremely intoxicated. He was arrested for Aggravated Assault, and Injury to Child. 20-03225

- Deputies responded to E. Nunn Rd. reference a Family Dispute involving a possible battery of 79 year old female at the hands of her granddaughter. KCSO personnel have been responding to this address multiple times in the last few weeks. On scene, and upon contacting two males and the granddaughter in the yard, granddaughter failed to follow commands by Deputies and was subsequently arrested for Resisting/Obstructing. The report of the battery was unfounded. 20-03227

- Deputies responded to the intersection of N. Pleasantview Rd. and W. Prairie Ave. for an Injury Crash. A westbound truck failed to stop, and was inattentive when he struck another vehicle which was southbound. The offending vehicle driver received multiple citation. One occupant was transported to KH with non-life threatening injuries. 20-03239

- Deputies responded to the Crossroads Conoco after a third party report that it was going to be robbed tonight by a male. The prime suspect was quickly identified and was located by Deputies hiding in the bushes on the property. The male had recently been fired from his job at the Crossroads, and fourth party rumors were that he was going to burglarize or rob the place, but he denied that. The Crossroads owner wanted him trespassed from the property, but it was discovered that he had been living in one of the sheds on the property with her permission, so he instead gathered most of his belongings and agreed to leave, for now. 20-03249

- Deputies investigated a DVA violation where a female was texting a male in violation of a NCO. This was her second violation this month. She was cited for the violation. 20-03278

- Deputies responded to Spirit Lake East reference a family dispute where 15 year old male was cussing and slamming doors because he had been grounded. He fled before deputies arrived and was signed by his father as a runaway. After a few hours of deputies searching, the juvenile returned home but was still aggressive with his father. Deputies responded back to the residence and arrested the juvenile (with two prior runaway charges) on a habitual runaway charge. 20-03281

- Deputies responded to WalMart reference a possible suicidal subject. They determined the female was not suicidal, but her boyfriend, who had run off before they arrived, was seen running across the parking lot towards them and possibly had a knife. The male kept running at Deputies with his hands in his pockets and did not comply with commands to stop. Deputies saw him drop a bag and continue to approach, where he was detained after a minor struggle. The bag he dropped contained methamphetamine and meth pipes. He was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and obstructing. 20-03288

- A Deputy got a little hungry and decided to pull into the Taco Bell on Hanley when he saw a male slumped over the wheel in a parking spot. As he approached he gave Central Dispatch the license plate and the RO returned with a warrant. The male had been slumped over playing on his phone using the Taco Bell WiFi. He was arrested on his warrant. 20-03298

- Deputies responded to W Hwy 53 in an attempt to locate a male, who was reportedly intoxicated and suicidal. It was reported by the male’s ex-boyfriend and current roommate that he had left Newman Lake intoxicated and was making suicidal statements. The claims were unfounded after the units met the male at the residence. KCSO has been to this residence multiple times involving domestics between the two. 20-02399

- Deputies responded to W Prairie Avenue for a domestic dispute. It was reported by a female that she and her soon-to-be ex-boyfriend, were involved in a verbal argument. The two were arguing over family matters and no crime had occurred. The male chose to leave for the evening, and stated he would contact the female in the morning to gather his things so he could move out and end the relationship. 20-03294

- Deputies responded to W Ashland Lane for a report of a physical family disturbance. It was reported that a male was using marijuana and after his parents confronted him about this he became irate and began attacking his father. His father had to pin him to the ground until units arrived. The parents refused to press charges and the report was closed CV. 20-03295

- Deputies assisted ISP with traffic control on a serious injury crash at Hwy 95 and Kidd Island Bay Rd.

- Deputies conducted a welfare check at Government Way and Lancaster Rd. It was reported a male was on the roadway jumping in front of cars and yelling at them. The male was not located at the location. The deputies went to the Lancaster Market to check for the male. As they arrived, a male walked out of the store, right in front of them carrying several food items that he had not paid for. The male was arrested for theft. Also, the male fit the description of the unruly male at Lancaster and Government Way. It should also be noted that the male was highly intoxicated.

- Deputies responded to an alarm at the Hagadone Marine storage facility on Beck Rd. The building in question was secure but a male was located inside an adjoining building. He was there working on carpet inside one of the boats, no crime.

- Deputies responded to N. Government Way for a possible domestic report. Upon their arrival a male said a female was intoxicated, freaking out and had battered him. Deputies issued the female a citation for domestic battery.

- Deputies took a possible fraud report in which RP’s Grandmother was convinced to purchase several gift cards and send the suspect pictures of them. By the time it was reported to KCSO the transactions had been completed and it appears she will be unable to get any of her money returned.

- Deputies responded to E. Painters Loop for a possible domestic report. A female called in to report her fiance had battered her while they were struggling over her engagement ring. The male was making statements about calling of the engagement but the female believes he was wanting the ring to sell it for meth. The males probation officer was notified and Deputies completed the report requesting charges be filed.

- Deputies responded to Country Ridge Ct reference a domestic. While in the area awaiting cover, a Deputy contacted a female leaving the area who had a warrant. The female was arrested for her warrant and it was determined she was not related to the domestic. 20-03399

- Deputies continued to the domestic between a female and her boyfriend. It was learned the female battered the male after he asked her to marry him and she said yes but then they got into an argument because she decided he need to ask her father first. 20-03398
