Linda Lee Utz, 72

Linda Lee Utz (“Mama Utz”), 72, of Post Falls, passed into eternal rest on Jan. 11, 2020, at home. She was born in Boise, Idaho, on Aug. 26, 1947, to Lowell and Ruth (Osburn) Chamberlain. The family moved to Gooding, Idaho, where Linda attended school.

On March 25, 1966, her son, Bill Hines, was born. She later married Ronald Utz, Jr., on Aug. 7, 1967, in Gooding, Idaho, and they had one son, Roger, on March 19, 1968. Linda worked for several years at Esterline Company, in Coeur d’Alene. Linda’s hobbies were camping and fishing (her obsession).

She is preceded in death by her father, Lowell, and mother, Ruth. Linda is survived by her husband, Ron; sons Bill (Kristine) Hines, of Boise and Roger (Andrea) Utz of St. Maries, Idaho; granddaughters Amber Lee Utz and Katelyn Hines; sisters Lynn (Larry) Kropf of Halsey, Ore. and Kim (Daryl) Jansen of Queen Creek, Ariz.; brothers-in-law Kerry (June) Utz of Gooding and Corry (Cheryl) Utz of Oak Harbor, Wash., and sister-in-law, Lola (Rob) Hendrickson of Twin Falls, Idaho. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Linda will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at 11 a.m., at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.
