There were 22 calls for service during the shift that were weather related. They ranged from property damage crashes, to slide offs and trees down over roadways and traffic hazards due to plows, snow piles, etc.

- Deputies conducted a welfare check at W. Rosewood Ct. for a neighbor that had not been seen in a while, the garage door was open and several newspapers in the driveway. The resident was fine and aware of garage door issue.

- Deputies handled some Traffic Hazard calls in the City of Hayden were vehicles were parked on the road impeding snow plows.

- Deputies handled a traffic hazard on E. Fernan Hill Road and Giftedview Dr were a truck and trailer became jack knifed and the trailer slid off the roadway. The trailer was fairly large, so the tow needed a large truck. This call took over two hours to clear up due to how busy the tow company was.

- Deputies responded to a report of a welfare check in the area of Hwy 95 and Orchard Ave. It was reported a male subject was wearing all black and “Doing some sort of sign language as cars passed”. The area was checked but the male was not located.

- Deputies responded to W. Mogul for an overdose. A male called in and said his roommate had overdosed. Once on scene, Deputies learned the male who overdosed brought home a pill that looked hand pressed but was told it was an Oxy. They split it and passed out. The R/P woke up to find his roommate unconscious. He called for help then started getting sick himself and believed the pill may have fentanyl in it. Deputies administered Narcan to the roommate and were able to revive him. Both males were transported to the hospital by medical. 20-01884

- Deputies responded to Super 1 Hayden for a theft just occurred. A male walked straight into the meat aisle, took several steaks, concealed them on his person and left. When confronted by LP, the male took off towards Hilgren. The LP officer advised foot prints in the snow leading to an address on Hilgren. Deputies contacted the home owner who was obviously not the suspect. However, while on scene, foot prints were seen going into a detached garage. The homeowner said nobody had permission to be in there and wished to pursue charges on whoever was. It was unknown if the tracks belonged to the Super 1 suspect or another person so a K-9 Deputy responded to clear the building. After K9 announcements were made, he deployed K9 Dyno who contacted a male hiding inside. It turned out to be the Super 1 suspect and he had hidden steaks underneath a car in the garage. He was ID’d and it was learned he had a warrant out of WA. He was taken into custody for burglary, unlawful entry, resisting/obstructing, possession of stolen property and concealing evidence and cited for petit theft. 20-01885

- Deputies responded to 2666 Blueberry Cr for a 14 year old female who was home alone and heard noises in her house. She was hiding in the bathroom. Deputies arrived and made entry to remove her from the house. They then cleared the house and located nobody and no signs of forced entry. It is unknown what the female heard. 20-01887

- Deputies responded to Athol for a suspicious call at Crossroads for suspicious vehicles and people. Nobody was there when units arrived but a call came in shortly thereafter of two males trying to break into the Country Boy Café. It turns out, they were trying to get into the shed/building next door which belongs to the owner of Crossroads. The two males were located and ID’d. They were sleeping in truck when on of the males woke up because the other male “pooped” himself. They then were trying to get into the shed to clean up and sleep. The owner was contacted and said they have permission to be in the shed. 20-01907
