Skier missing after deadly avalanche

Silver Mountain is closed today while the search for a missing skier is underway, after a series of avalanches on Tuesday killed two skiers and injured five.
A concerned family member reportedly contacted Silver Mountain Resort this morning about a skier the family has been unable to contact, according to a post on the resort’s official Facebook page.
The skier is confirmed to have been skiing yesterday at Silver Mountain Resort during the time of the avalanche.
Silver Mountain Ski Patrol as well as multiple rescue teams and dog units from various agencies are reportedly searching for the skier.
