IMPEACH: Just name the crime

I just have to laugh at the continued drivel that fills the op/eds regarding impeachment. Like the latest letter from one Richard Cripe.

Facts? You nailed it Mr. Cripe.

Unfortunately, like many other letter writers and 99% of Democrats, you didn’t list the crime. You can’t… and you didn’t.

Contempt of Congress… lol… a misdemeanor, now they need to prove it.

Obstruction of Congress? That’s not the same as obstruction of justice, which is usually a felony. Again, the House failed to forward the specific charge with evidence, as a crime.

You stated, “It is significant that this whole operation was done outside normal State Department or security council channels…”

Do you really want me, or The Press, to rewind the tape, the facts of history, to show you the last administration’s eight years of operation that would fulfill your statement?

Then you listed some existing and previous members of cabinet. Some were subpoenaed by the House, and some of those subpoenas have since been dropped. That’s a fact, now YOU should question, why?

On to your last paragraph. Another fact. Again, why didn’t Republicans refute? Because no crime was listed by Democrats other than the broad term “high crimes and misdemeanors.” A catch all net thrown by house Democrats, many of whom have been crying for his impeachment if elected since 2015, to sway public opinion.

Unfortunately, most of the public is ignorant and won’t take into account the hypocrisy and contradictory statements from the existing house Democrats and senators. Career politicians who are caught on tape from the early ’90s espousing the exact opposite today regarding impeachment. Just the facts, right?

So, where does that leave us?

I, for one, believe Pelosi appeased the left by bringing up articles of impeachment. And now she is smart enough not to forward them to the Senate because the case is so weak it’ll destroy Democrats for years to come. She understands the precedent that this will set for all other presidents who will follow. And for that, I give her credit.

But that’s just me being objective, logical and reasonable.

Now… in breaking news… what’s up with IRS sending a lien notice to young Mr. Biden for about $115,000 on wages “earned” from 2015, hmmmm?

Just the facts, please. Much more will get exposed, I’m sure.
