- Deputies handled a Trespassing call at S. Four Echoes Road reference a male that had come to the RP’s property and started asking if they owned any guns and entered their property without permission. A male, who was unknown to the neighbor was ultimately trespassed due to the contact. 20-00205

- Deputies responded to the Super 1 Foods in Hayden reference a cooperative Shoplifter who stole some jerky and pesto sauce. A report was taken. 20-00207

- Deputies responded to W. Margishward Road in Post Falls for a reported Family Dispute. On scene a male adult son was upset because he was not supposed to be at the house due to his drug use. The argument got worse when his father told him he needed to go get a job. The adult son was trespassed from the location. 20-00230

- Deputies arrested a male adult at driver’s licensing for his active warrant.

- Detectives arrested a female for multiple felony warrants at the Rodeway Inn. 20-00240

- Deputies responded to the Intercept Gym (next to the Hayden Discount Cinemas) after someone at the gym reported a male falling through the ceiling panels and yelling “I’m a Marine!” He then fled the building. The male was located in the parking lot by deputies. The male, who was highly intoxicated, claimed he heard someone coming into the building so he tried to climb up through the ceiling panels to hide. At another point he said he was actually in the ceiling for about an hour before falling. His story kept changing and ultimately the only crime that could be articulated was trespassing or unlawful entry, but the property manager just wanted him trespassed from the property and not charged at this time. 20-00263

- When responding to a reported threatening at Walmart, a deputy witnessed a two-vehicle crash in the intersection of Highway 95 and Honeysuckle. He and other deputies provided traffic control until ISP could respond to handle the crash. 20-00268

- Deputies responded to the Hayden Super 1 after it was reported that a female was approaching cars and asking them if they knew about a “murder.” Deputies located a female who said she was searching for a male. She had a premonition that someone in a car in the Super 1 parking lot had a “message” for her (not a “murder”), and she would know which vehicle by watching and making eye contact with the right person. She was warned that this was an unsafe idea and agreed to continue her search for the whereabouts of the male by making phone calls from the warmth of her home down the street. She walked home. 20-00276

- Deputies took a runaway report from N Davenport St. A father called in and advised his 16 YO daughter, ran away from her grandmother’s residence on New Year’s Eve. She was signed as a runaway. 20-00278

- A deputy stopped a vehicle at Fourth Ave. and Spokane St. and contacted the driver. He had an e-cigarette on his lap and was asked if it was a THC vape pen. The driver admitted it was. He was cited and released for PCS and possession of paraphernalia. 20-00282

- Deputies responded to Razzle’s Bar regarding a cold battery report. A female advised she was at her friend’s house near the bar and got into an argument over electrical issues and the male was cited and released for battery. 20-00284

- A deputy stopped a vehicle on Greensferry Road and Hayden Ave. He made contact with two juveniles in the vehicle. The deputy could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia. Their parents were contacted and they were petitioned for PCS and possession of paraphernalia. 20-00291

- While finishing up a domestic dispute call near Razzle’s Bar, deputies were contacted by a bar patron who claimed to recognize the suspect in a jewelry theft from Ponderay this evening that Ponderay PD posted on Facebook. The suspect was staying at the Hayden Inn and identified by staff. Deputies researched the incident that occurred just a few hours prior, then responded to the Inn and contacted the male, who eventually admitted to stealing six rings from a jewelry store in Ponderay, initially estimated at $20,000 in value. He was arrested for possession of stolen property and for possession of meth paraphernalia. Deputies located a pawn slip for a chain saw also believed to be stolen but that has not yet been verified. Ponderay PD was notified of the arrest and recovered property. 20-00292
